I am Adaora Onyia—an Engineering and Technical Program Management Leader, consultant, and advocate dedicated to empowering organizations and young women to reach their full potential.
For more than a decade, I have led complex global programs at Intel and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, helping teams navigate ambiguity, strengthen collaboration, and deliver high-impact results with clarity and confidence. My work has spanned program governance, cross-functional leadership, cloud and platform integrations, engineering execution, and executive-level strategy. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a simple belief: when people have structure, support, and shared purpose, they deliver extraordinary outcomes.
Today, I bring that same mindset into my consulting practice. I help organizations build and mature their program management capabilities—whether that means designing PMO frameworks, improving delivery discipline, aligning strategy across teams, or coaching leaders through complex initiatives. I thrive in environments where there is a need to organize chaos, streamline communication, and guide teams toward predictable, sustainable success.
My consulting approach is grounded in real-world experience. I’ve managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, led global teams across regions and disciplines, driven technical partnerships responsible for more than $1B in revenue impact, and implemented processes that improved execution for thousands of engineers and product owners. I understand the pressures leaders face, and I know how to put the right structures in place to help them deliver with confidence.
Alongside my work with organizations, I am deeply committed to advancing equity in STEAM for young women. I design and support programs that build technical confidence, introduce real-world skills, and create pathways into science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Whether through mentorship, community partnerships, or hands-on learning experiences, I believe in creating opportunities that empower young women to see themselves as innovators, leaders, and change-makers.
I hold an MBA from Regis University and three engineering degrees from Howard University, along with certifications including PMP, CSM, and the Stanford Advanced Project Management credential. But what truly drives me is seeing people—teams, leaders, and young women—grow into their strength, find their voice, and take ownership of what’s possible.
Through my work, I aim to deliver two things: meaningful impact for organizations today, and meaningful opportunities for the next generation tomorrow.
